Get your vibe-coded app ready for real users
You built something real with Lovable, Bolt, v0 or Cursor. People are signing up. Now the parts AI tools skip start to matter.
I'm a full-stack JavaScript developer. I fix those parts in your existing code, without rewriting the app.
Not sure what's wrong yet? Start with a code audit from $299.
Who can read which data?
What happens when a payment fails?
Where do your keys live?
Why vibe coding security matters
Almost half of AI-written code has a security flaw.
Veracode tested code from more than 100 AI models in 2025. 45% of the samples had a vulnerability, and larger models didn't do better.
VeracodeMissing database rules are the most common gap.
In May 2025, a researcher scanned 1,645 Lovable apps. 170 of them let anyone read or change data without logging in.
CVE-2025-48757AI tools write code that works. They don't always write code that's safe by default.
What I usually find
Database tables without rules.
In Supabase, a table without Row Level Security can be read and written by anyone with access to the API (Supabase docs). In Firebase, Security Rules left open from test mode do the same. Your public key is in the frontend by design, so the rules are the only lock.
Secret keys in the browser.
A service role key or a paid API key ends up in client code, where anyone can copy it.
Permission checks only in the UI.
The button is hidden, but the API behind it still answers anyone who calls it.
Payments trusted from the browser.
The app marks an order as paid without checking the payment provider's webhook.
No error tracking.
Something breaks for users, and nobody finds out until they email you.
No staging and no backups.
Every change goes straight to the live app and the only copy of the data.
What I fix
Data access
Row Level Security in Supabase, or Security Rules in Firebase, tested as each type of user.
Auth and permissions
Checks on the server for every action, not just hidden buttons.
Secrets
Keys moved to the server, and any exposed keys rotated.
Payments and webhooks
Orders confirmed by the provider's signed webhook, not the browser.
Errors and logs
Error tracking, so you hear about problems before your users do.
Deployment
Getting the app live on Vercel or your own server, with a staging copy, environment variables done properly, and backups you've tested.
Deployment and hosting
I work in your existing code, highest risk first. Rewrites are a last resort, and I'll explain why if one is truly needed.
How it works
- Tell me what's wrong
If you already know, like a failed deploy or a broken login, I quote the fix directly.
- Not sure? Start with an audit
I review your code and send a written list of what to fix first. From $299, about 5 working days.
Code audit - Fixes in your repo
Critical problems first, with a short note on each change.
- Re-check and handover
I test the fixes and give you a short checklist for building safely from here.
The payment terms are the same as my other development work. See how I work.
Can you keep using AI tools afterwards?
Yes.I'm not here to tell you to stop. AI tools are a fast way to build features.
What changes is that you build on a safer base. The database rules, auth checks and secrets are already right. My checklist covers what to check after each AI-generated change, like new tables or new API routes.

Questions about AI-built apps
Supabase is secure when Row Level Security is on for every table and the policies are right. Most problems in AI-built apps come from tables without RLS, or policies that let any logged-in user read everyone's data.
Usually not. Most AI-built apps have a reasonable structure with a few dangerous gaps. Fixing those gaps costs far less than a rewrite.
Yes. Lovable syncs with GitHub both ways, so I work in the repo and you can keep editing in Lovable. For Bolt and other tools, I work from the exported code.
Yes. The usual causes are missing environment variables, routes that break on refresh, or login redirects still pointing at the old address. Most of these take a few hours, billed hourly. → [/services/deployment-hosting]
Yes. The same gaps show up there: Security Rules left open, keys in the browser, and checks that only happen in the UI. I fix them the same way.
Yes. I explain each problem in plain words: what it is, what could go wrong, and what I changed. You don't need to read the code.
Usually, once the basics are fixed. The common slowdowns are missing database indexes and pages that load all the data at once. I check for these and fix the ones that matter for your traffic.
Critical issues, like an open database or an exposed key, come first. I start on those within 1 to 2 business days of agreeing on the work.
Yes, before you share any code or data.
